Why become a member to debtwizard.com?

Debtwizard.com is one of the UK's leading true independent and impartial websites helping individuals with their debt and consumer related problems. Membership is growing at an exceptional rate and is now in its thousands!

The site offers real, practical, no nonsense advice on reducing debt by detailing in easy to understand terms, bankruptcy, individual voluntary arrangements (IVA's), debt management. The site also shows you how to reclaim those 'unfair' bank and credit card charges, payment protection insurance (PPI) as well as mortgage exit administration fees (meaf). We do the letters for you; all you need to do is print them off.

So why is the site unique?

The site does not accept advertisers, that way it cannot be pressurised or influenced on the advice it gives. The site is written in its entirety by Mike Thomas, founder and head of debtwizard.com.

Why do I have to activate the email link?

Activation confirms you are using the correct email address following which you will then be accepted as a member, this means you will be entitled to full access to the content of the site covering advice, reference, case studies and published articles. There is also a section that will show you how to deal with harassment from creditors, break down the jargon into easy terms, and explain the powers of bailiffs as well as how and to whom to complain if one goes too far. We also list the agencies that can help you for free.

Will I receive emails from debtwizard.com?

Occasionally we will send you an email to update you on new topics on the site, any relevant debt/consumer related news and when Mike Thomas is next on the radio or television. The site also has numerous pod casts covering previous shows which can easily be listened to on your laptop/PC or downloaded straight to your ipod. These shows have proved to be extremely popular and may well answer any questions that you may have as they are based on all topics on the site.

Of course, if you would rather not receive these emails you can unsubscribe by logging in, going to "My Account" > "Editing General Details" and unchecking the box "I wish to receive important updates from DebtWizard.com".

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Yes, simply login, go to "My Account" and click "Cancel Account". We would be sorry to lose you though.
