Any update with the completion certificate thought mine took ages and in hindsight it was quite quick at only four months.

Hello Gallifrey

Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) is playing a huge part in delaying closures of IVAs. The test case Green v Wright appeal was heard earlier this month and judgement is reserved until New Year.

In my view this cannot come quicker enough.

Good to see you back on the forum :D

My very best wishes,

Mike

Hi all!!

Well last week I finally received my certificate of completion! Is that it? Am I 'free'? What a horrendous experience it was but so glad there was help out there - the iva company, this forum etc

Good luck all, the light at the end of my tunnel has definitely become brighter ☺️

Jules xx

Hello Jules64 and a very war, welcome back to the forum.

Great news that you now have your IVA completion certificate, looking through your earlier posts it has taken its time getting to you, mainly down to the big Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) case Green v Wright.

So yes it should now be the end of the road for you re the IVA. That said how is your credit file looking? When did the IVA actually start as I note it concluded early with a lump sum? If six years has since past then it should no longer be on your credit file.

Best wishes, and well done! :D

Mike
